Christina was born and raised in Germany, and Cape Coral has been home for more than twenty years now — long enough that she doesn't think of herself as someone who moved here so much as someone who built a life here. She's been out on the water just as long, which means her sense of this area comes from living it, not studying it from a spreadsheet.

Before real estate, she worked as a mortgage broker and carries a notary background as well, so she came into this business already comfortable with the financing and paperwork side that trips a lot of buyers up. She's now a Broker Associate with RE/MAX Trend and has spent more than twenty years helping people buy and sell homes here — though the license is really just the part of her story that's easiest to put on a business card.

What matters more is that Christina has personally bought, owned, renovated, and lived in waterfront homes herself — and that's where most of what she understands about Gulf access properties and the waterfront lifestyle actually comes from. Listing photos and marketing descriptions can only tell you so much. They won't tell you whether a dock will actually work for the boat you own, whether a bridge along the way limits where you can go, how one canal differs from the one two streets over, or what a neighborhood is really like to live in day to day. Christina has learned those things firsthand, the way any longtime owner does, and she brings that same eye to every home she shows — thinking about long-term ownership, resale value, and what everyday life on the water will actually be like, not just what a home looks like in photos.

At the end of the day, buying a waterfront home isn't really a real estate transaction — it's choosing a lifestyle. Christina's job, as she sees it, is to help clients figure out which one actually fits them, and then find the home that delivers it.

Carsten has spent more than thirty-five years working with his hands — building new homes, remodeling and renovating existing ones, flipping properties, and managing rentals throughout Southwest Florida. That kind of experience teaches you things a walkthrough never will. It's one thing to see a home's finishes; it's another to know what's behind the walls, how it was actually put together, and what it really takes to keep it running well for years to come. That's the lens he brings to every property — looking past the paint and staging to how a home is truly built, and what ownership will actually feel like once the excitement of moving in has settled.

That same hands-on instinct is why Carsten still personally looks after a small, select group of Home Watch clients. He's never been interested in growing it into something bigger — he'd rather stay closely involved with a handful of homes, walking through them himself, catching small issues before they become expensive ones, and giving owners real peace of mind while they're away.

He's also a licensed U.S. Coast Guard captain, and he's still out on the water leading private boat tours several days a week. It's not a lifestyle he used to have — it's one he still lives, every week, right now. That time on the water keeps him genuinely current on the canals, marinas, waterfront restaurants, and boating destinations throughout Southwest Florida, along with the routes that connect them and the Gulf access lifestyle that draws so many people here in the first place.

Christina brings more than two decades of real estate experience to every transaction. Carsten brings decades of construction, waterfront ownership, home maintenance, and boating experience of his own. Together, they help buyers understand not just the house they're about to buy, but the life that comes with it.
